You can also see the Place de la Republique, which is a large white arch erected to honor the country's former dictator, Bokassa. Gorillas, elephants, and Aka people are found in this region. Other wildlife parks in this country are the Manovo-Gounda St Floris National Park and Bamingui-Bangoran Park. The Marche Central (central market) is a major attraction in the heart of the city of Bangui. The Boali waterfalls are a sure tourist attraction.
