Overview

The Serengeti is located in northwestern Tanzania and extends to southwestern Kenya. The Serengeti witnesses the largest and longest migration of wildlife, which is one of the natural travel wonders of the world. This geographical region contains several national parks and game reserves. The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language and means "an extended place."
