The Czech Republic is a country that is a part of the European Union and is surrounded by many other popular European countries including Poland, Austria, Germany, and Slovakia. The Czech Republic was originally a part of Czechoslovakia, which declared its independence in 1918 after World War I. In 1993 Czechoslovakia was split into two constituent parts: the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The Czech Republic is a prehistoric human settlement, which is something that many areas cannot claim. Many people find that the city of Prague is simply breathtaking, and that multiple other cities in the Czech Republic can be incredibly beautiful. The Czech Republic is still in early stages, compared to many of the other governments and formations around the world. The Czech Republic still has a deep history, however, and is managing to blend the old with a new to make an interesting mix, benefiting all who feel like visiting or touring the country.

The Czech Republic is also world renowned for its famous beer, great spas, excellent wines, and breathtaking castles.
Prague
Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic. Prague is located in the region of Bohemia, on the banks of the River Vltava. Being the largest city in the country, Prague is home to more than 1.2 million people. Many people fail to realize that the area has been around for thousands of years. The Celts had a settlement in the area around 200 BC, which is one of the earliest known settlements of the area. Prague really is the center of the entire Czech culture.
A city with such a rich history has a lot of different museums and areas that truly show off both the age and the beauty of the area. Many tourists and visitors come to Prague just to visit the beautiful buildings and scenery that are unique from different areas around Europe.
Prague has a lot of different cathedrals and beautiful buildings that were built hundreds of years ago. People flock these areas just to take pictures of the buildings and see them for themselves.
