The town continues the tradition of having incredibly old and long historical roots, including the fact that it has been considered a city since the 13th century. For sightseeing, you can visit the Rosenborg Castle, which is in the center of the city and dates back to 1609. Copenhagen is also the home of the Thorvaldsens Museum, which is an interesting single artist art museum. For more of a thrill and pleasure, the Tivoli Gardens is a must-see. This is the oldest amusement park in the world.
