Overview

England is the largest of the four "Home Nations" that comprise the UK. It is located to the south of Scotland, and west of Wales. The English Channel is to the South of England and separates it from the Channel Islands and France. The North Sea is to its east. The country is divided into three parts including the South, Midlands, and the Northern Sections. These sections are further divided into smaller counties. The weather in Great Britain is very unpredictable, but the best time to travel to the country would be between April and September.
