Italy, officially known as the Italian Republic or the Italian Peninsula, is located on the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea: Sicily and Sardinia. Italy shares its borders with France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia. What we call as Italy today has been the cradle of many European cultures. Italy is a democratic republic and a developed country, which aims at maintaining the quality of life of the people. You can see places you've never dreamed of. The leaning tower of Pisa, which was one of the wonders of the world, is located in Italy. There are several active volcanoes in Italy. The Alps, the Dolomite Mountains, and the coastline with sandy beaches are magnificent with their scenic beauty. Some of Italy's magical cities are Rome, Florence, and Venice. Accommodation in private homes is available at an affordable price in the major cities including Florence, Rome, and Venice.

Florence

Florence, the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany, was initially named as Florentia. This city was built to resemble an army camp. Florence is the most populous city in Tuscany and is the home for around 364,779 inhabitants. The city is situated on the River Arno. The centuries old churches and cathedrals explain the rise and fall of the nation. The master pieces of the most famous artists like the Angelico, Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Titian, Raffaello, and Caravaggio can be found here, along with inspiration to become an artist yourself.

Rome

Rome was ruled by aristocrats of Italy. It is the city where the decisive murder of the great Julius Caesar took place, and from then on, Rome was under the supervision of the Roman Dynasty. Some places of interest in Rome are the Castle Sant' Angelo, the Colosseum, and the beautiful Basilicas. Vatican City, a sovereign state, is in the city of Rome. Rome has a vast history behind it, and so much of it can be seen through its beautiful architecture and buildings. These types of wonders will fulfill your expectation, along with astonishing celebrations. The Olympic Stadium in Rome will mesmerize you with all its beauty. Rome is the capital of Italy and has the nickname, the Eternal City and said to be one of the richest cities in history. The Christian areas here are the most favored destination for many of the Christian holidays, as they are celebrated with great joy. Rome attracts many travelers each year, and it is believed that approximately 26 million tourists per year visit this city.

Venice

Venice is filled with architecture that many people chose to visit, but what are more impressive are the celebrations. Many people actually prefer the celebrations that take place in Venice, since it makes you feel out of the universe. The important places to be visited in Venice include the Grand Canal, St. Mark's square, and Basilica dei Frari.

Me and my wife would like to plan a vacation to visit Italy - all important places like Rome, Venice and Florence. We are in Sao Paulo and therefore our itinerary should be like Sao Paulo - Rome-Venice-Florence or any other combination. r. Our tour plan itinerary should be designed in such a way that we would arrive in one city in Italy and exit from another city in Italy at the end of tour. Our target period is three nights in each city.

Hi

We plan to do a tour of Italy in end of Sept and end the tour latest by October 15, 2011. We are a group of 3 Adults from India. We are open to the idea of joining another small group with a similar tour itinerary.

We would like to visit the following cities: Rome, Sorrento, Pompeii, Isle of Capri, Blue Grotto, Assisi, Venice, Lake Maggiore, Verona, Milan, Lugano, Lake Como, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Mt. Etna, Amalfi Coast Drive.

We would like to see and visit all the famous and important tourist sites and attractions during our trip.

We would like to do this as a 15+ day trip.

We are all Vegetarians (no meat, no fish, no chicken, no eggs). One passenger has special dietary needs (besides the above does not eat onion, potato, garlic, carrot, beetroot, raddish & mushrooms).

Kindly suggest the best itinerary & route along with the budget.

Please note we are open to ideas, suggestion and expert guidance for planning this tour.

In case you have a group tour, kindly let me have the details of the same.

Awaiting your prompt response.
