Munich is famous for Oktoberfest, a well-known festival that takes place at the end of September and beginning of October. Tourists love Oktoberfest mainly for its wide-ranging and copious beer tents, including the nearly infamous Hofbrauhaus. The whole town of Munich sparks with lights and comes alive for this festival. It is one of Munich's major crowd pulling attractions and brings tourists from all over the world flocking into the city.
