Overview
Norway has sustained a lot of history since 9,000 BC, including the famous Viking Age, when long ships were built for the purpose of trade and conquest. This Northern European country was united into one kingdom in 900 AD and Christianity was adopted in 1,030 AD. In 1814, the Norwegian Constitution was adopted, based on the American Declaration of Independence.
The natural beauty alone is enough for Norway to entice many travelers to their shores. Norway still possesses traces of the Ice Age in the beautiful glaciers of the area. The largest glacier is the Jostedalsbreen. During summer, the sun never sets in Northern Norway and so this place is popularly called the "Land of the Midnight Sun." This incredible phenomenon has thrilled many locals and visitors alike.

There are many fascinating tours and safaris available in Norway, which you can enjoy for sure. You can experience a Fjord adventure, cruise Norway or travel the Atlantic Road. For something really different, check out the farm holidays that are available and wake to the sound of farm animals. Horse riding, fishing, biking, hiking, and boat trips are often offered here. You can also prefer camping and enjoy the beautiful wilderness of the place.

There are many different options for transportation in Norway. You have buses, rental cars, rails, and ferries, which take you to all places inside the country and there are also many airports in the country making it easy to get into the country.
