Overview

Bahrain, which means the Kingdom of Two Seas, is an archipelago located in the Persian Gulf and to the East of Saudi Arabia. It is also famously known as the Pearl of the Persian Gulf. Although the country boasts of an ancient history and culture, the discovery of petroleum has contributed to the rapid modernization of Bahrain. Transportation

Getting around Bahrain using a rented car or taxi service is probably the best mode of transportation since it offers an excellent opportunity for sightseeing at your own pace. You can also use the limited bus service, which is extremely cheap and reaches many of the tourist attractions throughout the country.
