Overview

Oman, officially known as the Sultanate of Oman, is one of the Middle Eastern countries and is largely a desert land. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates, while the coastline is formed by the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. Muscat is the capital city of Oman.

Much of the wealth of Oman is generated from the export of oil, gas and minerals.
