South Pacific Vacations

With white sandy beaches and unspoiled nature reserves, the South Pacific region oozes with attractions and activities. The crystal clear blue water offers more than a serene setting to vacationers who want to relax their body and mind. The South Pacific region appears completely cut off from the busy pace of the "real" world, which is truly a blessing in disguise for holiday-makers. And while travelers are cut off from the traffic and the hectic pace of their lives, they are never too far from beauty or other modern day conveniences.

The South Pacific Islands have had a history of warfare, settlement, and reorganization. The islands are still trying to figure out their individual identities all the while preserving their cultural history. Many of these islands are ones which began as settlements and colonies of other countries but who eventually fought for their independence. As a result of this invasion and colonization, the cultural differences have only become stronger, helping visitors take a look at the other way of living.

From American Samoa, Cocos Islands, Cook Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Fiji, there are so many different options for the tourists. No matter where you choose to stay in the South Pacific, you can be sure to enjoy a warm tropical climate, beautiful ocean horizons, and attractions which celebrate long and fascinating histories.
