California, the most populous state in America, is located on the west coast of the U.S. along the Pacific Ocean. In the beginning of 18th century this region was called Alta California. After getting separated from Mexico, it was integrated into the United States in 1850.

It is often called the entertainment capital of the world because it has major attractions like Hollywood, Universal Studios and Disneyland. When you visit California, you can catch sight of the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl and many other exotic locations and events.

Anaheim

Anaheim, a city in Orange County, entertains people with amazing events and activities. The three great art festivals held during the summer in Laguna Beach are a visual treat. Its Flightdeck Air Combat Center gives the ultimate thrill by allowing you to take on fighter jets in actual cockpit simulators. You will surely love Disneyland amusement park and its resorts, fine shops and restaurants.

Los Angeles

Los Angeles, one of the most popular cities in the country, is visited by millions of tourists every year. Union Square has many different types of tourist shops that integrate both Chinese and American goods. Another popular destination is The Grove, where you can admire its beautiful construction that features a lavish fountain at the center. To get delicious fresh fruits, veggies, seafood and bakery products, just drop into the adjacent farmers market.

San Diego

The city of San Diego offers a number of world class attractions within a short drive. Enjoy watching sea lions and dolphins from the Hornblower cruises, which offers a variety of complete entertainment packages. You can also take a bike and ride through some of San Diego's best wild areas, local parks and Rose Canyon. It has one of the largest model railroad museums with a scale model railway replicating San Diego's tracks.

San Francisco

This top American city delights customers with its colorful and charming attractions. The Golden Gate Bridge is 1.7-miles long and is considered one of America's top ten construction marvels. The historic water front of Fisherman's Wharf is a functioning fishing pier that delivers amazingly fresh seafood in its nearby restaurants.

Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe is the largest fresh water lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It has a single-track trail for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. Take your kids to Alpine Meadows to enjoy its excellent snowboarding-terrain parks, fine dining and snow-play areas.

Palm Springs

Palm Springs is a desert located east of Los Angeles. It has an amazing climate because of the nearby San Jacinto Mountains. The major attractions of Palm Springs are the enormous art galleries that depict the true art world. It also features some of the newest and most beautiful casinos in all of Southern California, including Spa Resort Casino and Fantasy Springs.
